1978 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe

This was my second 73-87 truck I owned, and one of my favorites I must add.  I purchased this truck back in 1993 when I was 20 years old, and boy was I happy.  Now this truck may not look like much, but it sure was fun to drive and work on.  It was powered by a 250 inline 6 cylinder and three speed manual on the column, more commonly known as a "three on the tree".   The truck itself was somewhat rusty, but the 250 purred like a kitten and the truck never let me down.  Sadly, I ended up trading this truck (and some cash) for my current 1973...Yeller, but I guess it would be safe to say it all worked out in the end.  The two people in the picture are my Grandfather and myself, we were in the middle of replacing the original rusty front clip with a rust free one I purchased from a friend.
